Meet Talented Financial Planner
Liza Campa-Flanagan

Liza (pronounced Lizza) has been an active professional in the financial services industry for 20 years. Liza’s first experience in the industry was working with a firm that specialized in municipal bonds. “Most people don’t know all the great things that are financed through municipal bonds, such as the Pinellas Trail,” Liza says. “The bonds are tax-free investing and they help support many local projects.” This strong background in tax-exempt securities jump started her career at Raymond James in 1988. Liza now specializes in financial planning for individuals, business owners, and institutions. “Nothing gives me more joy than knowing a client is realizing their financial goals and dreams,” Liza says.

A little known tidbit about Liza’s background is that until she was 24, she only knew the world of the circus. Her entire family was involved in the circus and theirs was a full life of traveling to South America, Mexico, Guatemala (where she is from), Canada, and across the U.S. Liza was a wirewalker, aerial acrobat and musician. It was a good life, but Liza wanted to experience more of the world and further her education. Liza still travels a lot, visiting family frequently all around the Americas.

Liza is a highly energetic woman who speaks fluent Spanish, loves to play sports, and enjoys making crafts. She and her husband especially love to play golf and beach volleyball, and both are triathletes. Liza also loves to sew, having grown up making her own costumes.
